Exploring the Outdoors

SCPD Outdoor Recreation programs offer a wide range of opportunities for adults who enjoy being active in an outdoor setting. Run the rapids of local whitewater or float down a meandering stream. Explore a wooded trail by mountain bike or cycle the countryside on a road bike. Take a leisurely hike while learning about local history or push your limits on an overnight backpacking trip. Whatever your interest, certified instructors will teach you everything you need to know to take advantage of our bountiful outdoor resources in a safe, confident manner.
