Tyger River Park
Spartanburg Parks is excited to announce the development of its first major regional park facility, Tyger River Park, opening in 2011. Thirteen fields are equipped to host fastpitch softball for all ages, and youth baseball for ages 4-12. This includes a premier stadium field designed to host the featured games of a tournament. This outstanding facility will offer these first-rate competitive fields in a beautifully appointed park setting.
If little ones want to play instead of watch, they can explore a nature-based theme play area. Host a special event, corporate picnic, or outdoor concert at the park. The complex boasts abundant parking and restrooms, hundreds of shade trees, and wireless Internet access.
