Posted on: May 15, 2020[ARCHIVED] Fitness Centers Remain Closed Indefinitely

We know many of you are anxious to get back into the gym, but unfortunately, our fitness centers will remain closed indefinitely.
Fitness centers that reopen on Monday (May 18), will be required to meet certain guidelines that are not feasible for us to comply with at this time (i.e. one way entrance and exit, members will have temperature taken immediately upon entering the facility, capacity limits, etc.). Here is a link to all of the guidelines:
https://governor.sc.gov/sites/default/files/Documents/Executive-Orders/FINAL_Re-Opening%20Guideline_Fitness%20CentersGymsYMCA2%20(003).pdfAdditionally, due to COVID-19, we are still evaluating all facilities and programs to determine the best way to re-open based on the guidelines and restrictions in place.
If you currently have a membership, you will not lose any money due to the closure. We will be extending your membership to account for lost time once we re-open. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
